T-shirt Design & Logo
Introducing this year's superlight 'quick-dri' running shirt with a new design!
The logo depicts a white stylized seven-petal Gardenia (栀子花) flower in the center of a round circle.
Gardenia is an evergreen flowering plant native to much of Asia and Pacific Islands, acknowledging the diverse origins of AAPI communities. The seven petals and their circular arrangement represent inclusivity, completeness, unity and perfection. White evokes the universal color for purity.
The logo was created for our inaugural run in 2022 by Sophie Wang, who was then a 5th grader at Chenery Middle School in Belmont, MA. Sophie was advised by her art teacher Ms. Constance Lane of the Art Students' Exchange in Lexington, MA.
